One of the best toys for open-ended play and exploration, simple blocks provide many opportunities for children to learn through play.
Playing with blocks is an excellent way for children to explore early math and science concepts as well as learn the names of shapes. They naturally work through problems as they build and reconfigure shapes.
Blocks create fun ways for young children to expand their ability to focus and develop motor skills. Along using their imagination to create, children are also learning special awareness and cooperation when they engage in block play with others.
