Mother Mentors Executive Director

Do you enjoy working with families with young children? Mother Mentors Whidbey Island is hiring a part-time Executive Director to oversee and guide the efforts of this island-wide not-for-profit organization supporting and strengthening local families through

  • Volunteer In Home Mentoring Support Services
  • Playscape Play and Learn Programming
  • Parent-Infant Support Circles and Peer led Parent Support Groups
  • Parent Pantry

The Director has overall responsibility for carrying out the mission and values of the organization through direction and leadership in planning, service delivery, program development and oversight, evaluation, fundraising and financial management, public relations and advocacy. Successful candidates will have a background in Family Support, Social Work, Early Childhood Education or similar, as well as proficiency with social media applications, database management, grant writing and budgeting. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Experience in a leadership role in a community-based organization and volunteer management highly desired.

This job is part-time 20-25 hours per week, Salary range DOE. Benefits allowance. Flexible work schedule.
